The Advanced CyberInfrastructure Development (ACID) lab, based within the San Diego Supercomputer Center at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), engages in interdisciplinary research and development focusing on the application of cyberinfrastructure solutions to address unique challenges in the domain sciences.
Researchers in the ACID lab are working in diverse range of domains spanning computer science, geoscience, ecology, precision medicine, bioinformatics, public health, political science, etc. We collaborate with researchers from UNAVCO, School of Earth and Space Exploration at Arizona State University, Conservation International, National Snow and Ice Data Center as well as various departments and research units within UCSD including Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Center for Wireless and Population Health Systems at Calit2, Moores Cancer Center, Kavli Institute for Brain and Mind, and CARTA among others.
